Job summary

Hypertherm Associates in Kent, WA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to drive continuous improvement across CNC machining operations. You will embed quality, improve OEE, manage capex projects, and mentor technicians in a high-mix, low-volume environment.

You will design tooling and fixtures for new product introductions, apply DFMA feedback, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing readiness and strong cost performance.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Strong GD&T and statistical analysis knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence across high-mix, low-volume CNC machining operations.
• Lead Capex justification and deployment projects with milestones.
• Mentor technicians and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and workstations for new product introductions.
