Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Azusa, CA is seeking an experienced CNC machinist to plan sequence of operations and methods used to fabricate tooling and dies. You will set up CNC and manual machines to perform most operations within machine capacity, following engineering drawings and dimensional prints.

This role requires working from manuscripts or sketches, performing self-inspection for quality, training team members, and adhering to safety and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires six (6) years of CNC and manual machine shop experience after a recognized machining apprenticeship and/or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of programming languages to develop and execute complex setups.
• Able to perform in a team environment with safety and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual machines including setup and operation.
• Perform precision assembly and quality inspection.
• Train team members and follow safety/environmental procedures.
