Northrop Grumman in Commerce, CA is seeking a Machinist Level 3 to join our 2nd shift. You will operate 5-axis CNC mills and lathes, interpret engineering drawings and GD&T, and produce high-precision parts on tight tolerances.

Qualifikationen

• Requires CNC 5-axis machining experience.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, production specifications and drawings.
• Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Experience with composite, honeycomb, aluminum, stainless steel and titanium materials.
• Proficient in setup instructions and complex shop math calculations.

Aufgaben

• Set up and run multiple production machines (5-Axis CNC mills, Lathes).
• Execute advanced milling operations and precision cuts.
• Interpret blueprints and specs and mark stock for machining.
• Inspect parts with gauges, calipers, micrometers and comparators for conformance.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and reliability.
