Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Commerce, CA seeks a Machinist Level3 to join our 2nd shift (2:15pm – 11:45pm, 9/80). You will set up and operate 5-axis CNC mills and lathes, read blueprints, and perform precision cutting and assembly tasks to tight tolerances.

The role requires 4+ years of CNC experience, familiarity with HAAS GM2 5-Axis controllers, and ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime. Join us to contribute to high-stakes aerospace components.

Qualifications

• Requires CNC 5-axis machining experience.
• Experience reading blueprints, production specifications, and diagrams.
• Familiarity with GD&T and precision measurement.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run multiple production machines (5-Axis CNC mills, lathes).
• Perform advanced milling operations including contouring, gears, and honing.
• Interpret drawings and use precision instruments to verify parts.
• Make tool and parameter adjustments to ensure part quality.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and reliability per division requirements.
