Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician (CNC) - Level 4/5 to support production, R&D machining and fabrication teams. You will maintain and repair a wide range of CNC assets, troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems, and ensure machines operate safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical repair or maintenance.
• Experience with CNC control systems: Siemens 840D, Okuma, Fanuc, Heidenheimer, and Allen Bradley.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all assets to ensure proper operating condition.
• Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on CNCs: 5-axis milling, mill-turn, horizontals/verticals.
• Troubleshoot control and electrical system failures (PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, servo amps, I/O, sensors).
• Repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems (actuators, valves, pumps, filters).
• Repair mechanical systems (ball screws, linear rails, guideways, gearboxes).
• Operate forklifts and related vehicles.
