Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician (CNC) Level 4/5 to support 5-axis and multi-axis machining, R&D and aerospace production. You will repair, maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems across complex CNCs.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, control system diagnostics, and equipment upgrades. Shifts include 1st or 2nd, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
7+ years experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical repair or maintenance.
Experience with CNC control systems: Siemens 840D, Okuma, Fanuc, Heidenheimer, and Allen Bradley.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair all assets to ensure their proper operating condition.
Provide preventative and correct maintenance on various complex CNCs: 5-axis milling, mill turn applications, horizontal and vertical lathes.
Troubleshoot and repair control and electrical system failures involving PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, servo amplifiers, input/output, and field sensors.
Troubleshoot and repair various machine tool hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including actuators, valves, pumps, and filters.
Troubleshoot and repair machine tool mechanical systems, including ball screws, linear rails, guideways, and gearboxes.
Drive forklifts and company vehicles.
Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment
