Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician to provide mechanical, electrical and controls support across production and R&D machining. The role involves repairing and maintaining complex CNC systems, troubleshooting PLCs, servomotors, and hydraulic/pneumatic subsystems in a high-demand aerospace environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, equipment calibration, and working across 5-axis milling, mill-turn, and large machine tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate is required.
• 1+ years experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical repair or maintenance.
• Experience with CNC control systems: Siemens 840D, Okuma, Fanuc, Heidenheimer, and Allen Bradley.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all assets to ensure proper operating condition.
• Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on CNCs: 5-axis milling, mill-turn applications, horizontal and vertical lathes.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems including PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, and sensors.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems: actuators, valves, pumps, filters.
• Repair mechanical systems: ball screws, linear guides, gearboxes.
• Drive forklifts and company vehicles.
• Perform other related duties to ensure an efficient work environment.
