Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician (CNC) - Level 4/5 to support the CNC maintenance team across production, R&D machining and fabrication. The role involves repairing and maintaining 5-axis and other complex CNC equipment, diagnosing PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, hydraulics and pneumatics.

The candidate should bring 7+ years of relevant repair experience and familiarity with Siemens 840D, Okuma, Fanuc, Heidenheimer, and Allen Bradley controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical repair or maintenance.
• Experience with CNC control systems: Siemens 840D, Okuma, Fanuc, Heidenheimer, and Allen Bradley.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all assets to ensure proper operating condition.
• Provide preventative and correct maintenance on various CNCs: 5-axis milling, mill turn, horizontal and vertical lathes.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, HMIs, servomotors and servo amplifiers, I/O and sensors.
• Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems: actuators, valves, pumps, filters.
• Repair mechanical systems: ball screws, linear rails, guideways, gearboxes.
