Job summary

Outsource Vista is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to program and operate CNC mills and lathes. You will take jobs from setup to production, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.

The role requires hands-on machining, strong GD&T knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot programming and tooling issues while maintaining quality standards and safety protocols. A long-term opportunity with a stable manufacturing operation is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• 5+ years programming and operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Strong understanding of setup, tooling, feeds, speeds, and offsets.
• Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T.
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to work independently and meet production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes.
• Set up machines, tooling, workholding, and offsets.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Edit and adjust CNC programs as needed.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues.
• Maintain quality and production standards.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
