Job summary

Aveox Inc. in California is seeking an experienced Lathe and Mill programmer/machinist to program, set up, and operate 2, 3, 5 and 6 axis Lathes and Mills. You will ensure First Article components meet customer specs and adhere to AS9100 traceability.

The role requires live tooling, blueprint reading, and MasterCam proficiency. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of programming and machining experience, familiarity with Doosan machines, and strong GD&T skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of prior programming experience and/or combination of experience and education.
• Experience operating Lathes and Mills; Doosan machines a definite plus.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident per ITAR.
• Experience using MasterCam machining software is highly desirable.
• Ability to read blueprints and complex sectional drawings.
• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.

• Detects and reports defective materials.
• Work with vendors and purchasing to order materials/parts, tooling and supplies as needed for daily operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines as required.
