Qualifications

• Five years’ experience programming CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Blueprint reading is required with a high level of experience.
• Degree or certification or equivalent job experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting Blueprints and Designs to determine shapes, tolerances, and dimensions.
• Developing CNC programs including toolpaths, speeds, feeds, and parameters.
• Choosing cutting tools and fixtures based on material and geometry.
• Setting up and adjusting machines including tool selection and clamping.
• Testing and troubleshooting programs to resolve errors and optimize performance.
• Staying current with CNC technology and manufacturing processes.
