Job summary

Responsibilities include creating and editing CNC programs, setting up machines, loading tooling, and inspecting parts to ensure quality. The candidate will read drawings, suggest process improvements, and work with teammates to maintain safety and throughput.

Qualifications

• Strong CNC programming experience with the ability to develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs.
• Experience using GibbsCAM is strongly preferred.
• Candidates with experience with Mastercam or SolidWorks CAM and willingness to learn GibbsCAM will be considered.
• Experience programming, setting up, and operating both CNC mills and CNC lathes.
• Experience with 3- and 4-axis machining centers.
• Reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and machining specifications.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts per blueprints and quality requirements.
• Develop, write, edit, and optimize CNC programs using GibbsCAM and G and M codes.
• Set up CNC machines, including tooling selection, tool offsets, loading programs, and establishing work coordinates.
• Prepare and preset tools required for each job.
• Load and unload materials and safely operate CNC equipment throughout production.
