Tecomet in Ambler, PA is seeking a CNC Machinist III to produce precision machined parts by operating, setting up CNC mills, wires, and lathes, and following drawings and specifications.

The role emphasizes quality, safety, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities across setup, tool changes, program understanding, and maintaining documentation while meeting productivity targets.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Maths and English is desirable (UK only).

Responsabilidades

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances following work instructions and drawings.
• Propose new production setups and change offsets/tooling in machines as part of the new setup.
• Perform difficult CNC machining work with very close tolerances on a variety of parts and metals.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot and understand CNC programs and processes.
• Improve and produce work instructions.
• Assist Engineering with fixture redesigns to increase quality and productivity.
• Ensure product quality per operator owned quality (OOQ) standards using measurement equipment.
• Propose adjusted speeds and feeds for different machining requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance per daily machine checklist and PM schedule.
• Perform hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and good documentation practices.
• Maintain safe working practices to minimize risks.
• Achieve productivity targets and identify improvements.
• Record activities in the job tracking system.
