Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist III to produce machined parts by operating and setting up CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes. You will read blueprints, assess tolerances, and ensure quality through OOQ standards while maintaining equipment and documentation.

Preference given to candidates with 5+ years of CNC experience, an associate degree or tooling certificate, and the ability to perform some programming under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associates degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and possibly program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes to tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes; adjust tooling and offsets as needed.
• Maintain quality through OOQ standards and use measuring equipment to verify readings.
• Perform routine maintenance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
