Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a CNC Machinist III to produce machined parts by operating, setting up CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within specified tolerances. The role supports continuous improvement and productivity goals within Tecomet’s standards and safety policies.

You will read blueprints, troubleshoot CNC programs, and assist with fixture redesigns to boost quality and throughput, while maintaining accurate documentation and using proper GMP practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints or specifications.
• GCSE/NVQ maths and English desirable for UK roles.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Propose new setups and change offsets/tooling in machines.
• Perform difficult CNC machining with close tolerances on various metals.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Work with Engineering to redesign fixtures and improve quality and productivity.
• Ensure product quality by OOQ standards and using measuring equipment.
