Job summary

TECOMET is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist III to produce machined parts by operating, setting up and potentially programming CNC mills, wire EDMs, and lathes. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and adherence to GMP/GDP, with record-keeping and continuous improvement as core duties.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of CNC machining experience, strong reading of blueprints, and the ability to train junior machinists while maintaining tight tolerances across multiple machines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years CNC machining experience.
• Associate degree or machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and program CNC mills, wire EDMs, and CNC lathes to tight tolerances.
• Read blueprints or specifications and ensure conformance.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes to resolve issues.
• Maintain quality using OOQ standards and precise measurements.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and maintain 5S housekeeping.
