Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced CNC machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, program using IGF/EDGE CAM, and develop fixtures for complex parts. You will work in a team with lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs, while training new or less experienced employees.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and seven+ years of high-tech machining experience, with proficiency in EDGE CAM, blueprints interpretation, and quality

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and seven+ years of machining experience in a high-technology environment.
• Able to program, run, and set up both mills and lathes.
• Able to set up and operate CNC support equipment including EDGE CAM programming.

Responsibilities

• Run multiple machines and adapt tooling to complete operations.
• Perform complex machining and troubleshoot problems as needed.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specs to meet requirements.
• Lead lean/continuous improvement efforts and mentor junior teammates.
• Train and coach less experienced team members in best practices.
