Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate and set up multiple production machines from blueprints and routings. You will contribute to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs, with requirements including reading blueprints and following documented procedures.

As part of a team, you will ensure parts meet specifications, adjust tooling, and maintain equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years related machining experience.
• Able to read blueprints and follow specifications.
• Experience applying lean manufacturing concepts.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication; able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and runs production machines; performs operations per pre-planned routing.
• Adjusts feeds, speeds, and depth of cut to produce quality parts.
• Inspects parts using gauges and comparators; checks conformance to specs.
• Maintains equipment and cleanliness; supports SPC data collection.
• Participates in lean initiatives and suggests improvements.
