Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate multiple machines, including CNC lathes and mills, to produce parts per blueprints with tight tolerances. You will edit programs, perform inspections, and support lean initiatives while mentoring junior teammates.

You will read complex drawings, collaborate with engineering and quality teams, and contribute to a high-reliability, safety-focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent with 5+ years in high-tech machining.
• Able to set up and run at least five CNC machine types.
• Reads complex blueprints and follows engineering specs precisely.
• Operates conventional/CNC lathes/mills with close tolerances.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and apply lean concepts.

Responsibilities

• Run multiple machines efficiently and adapt tooling as needed.
• Create and edit standard machining programs and prove out procedures.
• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines with tight tolerances.
• Interface with engineering to resolve drawing issues and optimize processes.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools and maintain SPC data.
• Train and mentor less experienced team members.
