Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate a range of CNC lathes and mills, ensuring parts meet precise specifications.

You will interpret complex drawings, programs, and engineering specifications, perform precision measurements, and participate in lean initiatives. The role includes mentoring junior staff and maintaining equipment and SPC processes.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and five or more years related machining experience in a high technology environment.
• Able to set up and run a minimum of five CNC machine types.
• May require specialized certification (e.g., certified operator).
• Reads blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Makes complex setups for multiple workpiece stations.
• Interprets customer requirements from blueprints and drawings.
• Inspects finished parts using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and CMM when required.
• Trains and mentors less experienced team members.
