Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a CNC Machinist III to lead advanced CNC operations, programming, and maintenance. The role emphasizes complex setups, real-time adjustments, and rigorous quality control to ensure precision in production parts.

Ideal candidates will read blueprints, troubleshoot CNC programs, and collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve efficiency while maintaining safety standards. The position is onsite with standard weekdays.

Qualifications

• Advanced CNC operations experience and complex setup proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of G-code and CAM software for programming and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure correct tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs for components and production needs using G-code and CAM.
• Operate CNC machines, monitor processes in real time, and adjust for performance and quality.
• Conduct detailed quality inspections with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with CNC programmers, engineers and production teams to optimize processes and reduce cycle times.
• Manage tool changes, offsets, and monitor tool life to ensure consistency and quality.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep a clean, safe work area.
• Document production records including counts, logs, and QC data.
