Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a Machinist II to operate and set up CNC and manual equipment, reading blueprints, and ensuring high-precision parts. The role requires strong measurement skills and a proactive approach to quality control and safety.

You will collaborate with engineers and machinists, drive improvements, and maintain equipment and workspace to uphold Cadrex's standards. Onsite manufacturing environment with structured shifts.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine tolerances and tooling needs.
• Operate CNC and manual machining equipment to fabricate precision components.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools and adjust processes to meet quality standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity, efficiency, and safety.
• Diagnose machine issues, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate with maintenance teams for complex repairs.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Read and analyze blueprints, work orders, and drawings to determine job specs and tooling requirements.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, ensuring adherence to tolerances.
• Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and safety.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance; coordinate with maintenance.
