Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a CNC Operator II to run both manual and CNC machines, producing small to medium parts per specifications. You will set up machines, load tooling and fixtures, and verify program parameters for accuracy. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

You will work 1st shift onsite in Indiana, contributing to a team-focused manufacturing environment with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator with 2–3 years in CNC machining operations.
• Knowledge of setup, offsets, tool changes, and program adjustments.
• Understanding of G-code programming is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC machines to produce production parts and assemblies.
• Operates manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes.
• Positions parts using various fastening devices.
• Uses hand-held, electrical, and pneumatic tools; lifts as needed.
• Sets up CNC machines with tools, fixtures, and materials; verifies settings.
• Performs in-process and final quality checks on finished parts.
• Documents production paperwork and reports defects or non-conformities.
• Keeps work area clean, follows safety rules, and supports teamwork.
