Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a CNC Machinist I to operate and maintain CNC machines to produce precision components following engineering drawings. You will set up tooling, load materials, monitor processes, and perform basic maintenance under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or technical certification and hands-on experience with measuring tools and blueprint reading. This onsite role offers a M-F schedule with evening shifts and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Proficient in operating CNC machines with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines with tools, fixtures, and materials.
• Interpret drawings to ensure accurate machining.
• Operate CNC machines to produce components and monitor performance.
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Make tool changes and offsets; report malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area.
