Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience operating CNC machines in heavy manufacturing.
• Experience setting up mills and lathes and selecting tools and fixtures.
• Proficient in reading drawings and applying GD&T concepts.

Responsibilities

• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints and specifications; interpreting GD&T.
• Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions and setting tool references and offsets.
• Sets up mills and lathes by mounting chucks, tools, attachments, and vices; trimming heads.
• Loads stock and verifies positions by measuring parts and sample workpieces.
• Maintains specifications by monitoring drilling, grooving, turning and threading operations; troubleshooting and reprogramming.
