Job summary

Responsibilities include running and editing CNC programs, reading traveler instructions, operating lathes, performing all set ups, loading/unloading material, and documenting inspection data

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC lathes and precision part production.
• Ability to read traveler instructions and blueprints.
• Capability to measure, document inspection data, and maintain standards.

Responsibilities

• Run and Edit CNC Programs
• Read and follow traveler instructions
• Operate lathes
• Perform All Set Ups
• Load and unload material and parts
• Measure and document inspection data
• Measure, document, maintain or improve on established production standards
• Read and interpret almost all blueprint dimensions, symbols, and notes
• Document counts
• Organize, clean, and maintain work area
• Complete discrepant tag information
• Communicate with Engineering on issues, needs, and improvements
• Perform All Set Ups
• Other functions as deemed appropriate
