Job summary

ALIGN PRECISION in Chandler, AZ is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to prepare and operate numerical control machines, load parts, follow work instructions, and perform in-process inspections to ensure conformance to specifications.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of machining experience, reads blueprints and CAD models, and is skilled with calipers, micrometers, and CMMs. GD&T knowledge and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of machining experience, preferably in a high-precision or military environment.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Proficient in operating and programming CNC machines.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Understanding of GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Performs part processing per provided work instruction and/or verbal instruction.
• Select and utilize appropriate cutting tools and work holding for various materials and machining processes.
• Perform precise measurements and inspections to ensure parts meet stringent quality control standards.
• Manages tooling and fixturing as required
• Reports faulty hardware, processes, and non-conformances to immediate supervisor
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• May assist with developing new machining methods and tooling for complex parts.
• Actively engage in and initiate continuous improvement activities
• Other duties assigned.
