Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years CNC machining experience including blueprint reading.
• Proficiency with ERP systems for data entry and job tracking.
• Strong mathematical skills; trig knowledge preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Log labor time and production data in ERP.
• Interpret work orders, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements and sequence.
• Set up machines by loading tooling, fixtures, and materials per job specs.
• Retrieve and verify materials from staging areas per WOPAC documentation.
• Upload/download CNC programs in coordination with programmers.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections for blueprint compliance.
• Operate CNC machines to complete production while maintaining quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
• Perform daily and scheduled preventative maintenance on machines.
• Collaborate with programmers and engineers to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Design and fabricate fixtures as needed to support production.
• Modify and optimize CNC programs when required.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of CNC machining operations and programming principles.
