Job summary

Align Precision Corp. in Chandler, AZ is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to manufacture detailed parts from blueprints using HAAS, Robodrill and Hermle milling machines.

You will set up and operate mills, measure parts with calipers and micrometers, inspect for tolerances, document processes in the ERP system, and support continuous improvement while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of relevant experience.
• High school degree or equivalent, plus advanced training.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of customer specifications and requirements.
• Basic computer skills.
• Problem solving abilities.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Mastery of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to get along with co-workers and be a team player.
• Understand and obey safety requirements.
• Commitment to keep work area clean and free of debris.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines such as the HAAS, Robodrill and Hermle.
• Retrieve job related information (job routings, part drawing, tool lists, work-instructions, etc.)
• Select and utilize appropriate cutting tools and work holding for various materials and machining processes.
• Document manufactured quantities and all required processes utilizing ERP system
• Perform precise measurements and inspections to ensure parts meet stringent quality control standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machining efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• May assist with developing new machining methods and tooling for complex parts.
• Other duties assigned.
