Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search seeks an experienced CNC Field Service Engineer to install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced CNC machines at customer sites across rail, aerospace, and automotive industries.

The role requires 80–90% domestic and international travel, with responsibilities including machine alignments, calibration, training, and escalation resolution for complex CNC/PLC systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Five+ years CNC field service or related experience.
• Strong ability to read schematics and troubleshoot PLCs, drives, and sensors.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair and maintain CNC machine tools at customer sites.
• Coordinate startup, testing, and validation of machines.
• Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics and PLC ladder logic.
• Review machine parameters, diagnostic data, and alarm codes to isolate issues.
• Train and mentor Service Technicians on operation and maintenance.
