Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset seeks a Senior Nursing Assistant to provide experienced, resident-centered care in a 128-bed long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and support the nursing team under an RN's supervision.

Requires CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and preferred prior long-term care experience. The role includes rotating weekends and holiday coverage, with a generous benefits package and sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
• Active CNA certification and registration with state boards.
• Two years of clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Annual continuing education and competency requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, vital signs, and sequencing of routine tasks.
• Support RN and other staff, document care interactions and outcomes.
• Maintain infection control practices and use PPE as required.
• Contribute to wellness activities and restorative nursing programs.
