Qualifications

• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing is required.
• Minimum age of 16; two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long‑term care preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Annual continuing education credits are required.
• Restorative Nursing training may be required within 6 months.
• May be registered as a Sanford Category II Driver with applicable checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident‑centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities and vital signs.
• Document interactions and communicate changes to charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Support wellness and recreational programs and assist with dining activities.
