UES, Inc. is seeking an Experienced CMT Field Technician to support engineering, materials testing, and inspection projects. You will perform advanced field and lab testing, conduct on-site inspections, and ensure compliance with specs, standards, and regulatory requirements.

The role offers outdoor work, teamwork with project teams, and potential mentorship of junior technicians. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, detail-oriented, and capable of independent work in a fast-paced field

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• 3+ years of field-based experience in materials testing or inspection.
• ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing preferred or obtainable within defined time.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Commitment to safety, OSHA regs, and company safety policies.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Field Data Collection software.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

Responsabilités

• Perform field testing on soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials.
• Ensure testing meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Collect, label, and transport samples to laboratories for analysis.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Complete detailed reports, logs, and documentation of test results.
• Communicate with dispatch, field supervisors, contractors, and project managers.
• Mentor and support junior field technicians when needed.
• Follow OSHA, company, and client safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Adapt to early mornings, weekends, or overnight work as needed.
• Operate and maintain assigned company vehicle and schedule maintenance.
• Travel to job sites within the region; overnight stays as required.
• Perform additional duties to support company initiatives.
