Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 3 years of field experience in materials testing.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and travel between sites.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards and soil classifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing on soils and concrete, including compaction and slump.
• Conduct density testing with nuclear gauges or sand cone techniques.
• Prepare daily field reports and submit documentation.
• Communicate findings with project teams and clients.
• Ensure equipment calibration and safety on site.
• Travel to job sites as required (up to 70%).
