Job summary

UES is seeking a safety-focused Experienced CMT Field Technician to support engineering, materials testing, and inspection projects. This role involves performing advanced field and laboratory testing, conducting on-site inspections, and ensuring projects meet industry standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include field testing of soil, concrete, and related materials, maintaining equipment, and producing detailed reports while coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field-based experience in materials testing or geotechnical fieldwork.
• ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing certification preferred or obtainable within specified time.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to safely operate company vehicles.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Field Data Collection software.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing on soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Ensure testing requirements are met and compliant with project specifications, requirements, and company policies.
• Collect, label, and transport material samples to laboratories for analysis, following proper procedures to maintain sample integrity.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper functioning according to manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Complete detailed reports, logs, and documentation of test results and submit to project managers and stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, field supervisors, contractors, and project managers, providing real-time updates on job status and site conditions.
