Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a senior CMM Programmer/Inspector to plan, program, and execute inspection methods for prototype hardware, ensuring alignment with design intent and GD&T standards. This role supports fast-paced manufacturing across multiple prototype projects in the SWORD group.

Responsibilities include planning and running CMM programs, interpreting dimensional data, and communicating findings to machinists and engineers.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components or equivalent.
• A minimum of 7 years in CMM programming and operation.
• A minimum of 7 years in high-mix, low-volume machining environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspection feedback to design, engineering, and manufacturing through the product lifecycle.
• Program, setup and operate CMMs and other computer-aided inspection systems.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Maintain calibration and configuration control of inspection files.
• Document Non-Conformance reports and provide time estimates for inspections.
