General Dynamics - Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine is seeking a Sr. IT Specialist to lead CMDB architecture and hands-on configuration management. The role focuses on CMDB lifecycle, asset control, and ITOM platform maturation within BIW's BOS framework.

The position requires strong ServiceNow expertise, IT infrastructure knowledge, and leadership to deliver scalable, compliant configurations. Onsite, first shift, year-round role with site collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years administering a CMDB, preferably in ServiceNow.
• Strong IT infrastructure knowledge and asset management.
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and long-term roadmap of the ServiceNow CMDB.
• Define CMDB data models, CI class standards, relations and governance.
• Architect ITOM implementations: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, AIOps.
• Translate requirements into scalable ServiceNow configurations.
• Oversee CI audits and CMDB data quality improvements.
• Provide mentoring to CI Managers and ServiceNow staff.
