Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Engagement Manager within AWS Professional Services to lead large-scale, multi-workstream engagements from concept to delivery.

You will build strategic relationships with customers and partners, guide cloud transformation journeys, manage scope, timelines, and risks, and mentor teams while driving delivery excellence across AWS, customers, and vendors. This role is based in Herndon, VA and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leading multiple Agile teams concurrently or at scale.
• 7+ years of leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements.
• 5+ years of cloud computing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM field.
• Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Experience in leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive planning and execution for large, multi-workstream engagements.
• Build strategic relationships with customer stakeholders to align vision and strategy.
• Manage scope, financials, risks and timelines within contractual boundaries.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among AWS, customer, and partner teams.
• Share best practices for delivery quality and operational excellence.
