Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services (ProServe) is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead delivery of complex cloud solution projects in the United States. You will combine technical credibility with project leadership to drive AWS-based implementations, mapping business needs to technical requirements and guiding stakeholders through trade-offs.

You'll work across teams, apply Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework, manage risk, communicate with C-level and developers, and grow

Qualifications

2+ years of leading multiple Agile teams concurrently or at scale
7+ years of leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements
5+ years of cloud computing experience
Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
Experience in leading multiple Agile teams concurrently or at scale
Experience in leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements

Responsibilities

Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects
Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning
Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes
Distilling customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes
Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions
Contributing to technical documentation and define documentation standards
