Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr. Cloud Technical Account Manager in Herndon, VA, to serve as the principal technical advisor for Enterprise Support customers across industries.

This is not a sales role; it's about shaping architectures, guiding incidents, and aligning AWS services to customer goals. You will collaborate with senior leaders, help craft adoption strategies for EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, and more, and travel ~10% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer to drive AWS adoption.
• Craft and execute strategies to drive customers’ use of AWS services across Compute, Storage, DB, and more.
• Represent AWS in customer environments and discuss incidents, trade-offs, and risk with senior leadership.
