Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and Azure Cloud services (S3, Step Functions, Batch, CloudWatch).
• Proven track record managing large-scale production systems.
• Strong Linux/Unix and Windows administration.
• Scripting for automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Automation tools: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack.
• IaC tools: CloudFormation knowledge.
• Monitoring tools: CloudWatch.
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
• Knowledge of network protocols, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support of complex application cloud systems.
• Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
• Document problems in logging and discrepancy reporting tools.
• Work directly with the customer in day-to-day activities.
• Respond to user calls regarding hardware and software problems, escalating when required.
• Maintain computing infrastructure and inventory.
• Implement continuous improvement of IT systems and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with VA standards and security policies.
• Provide documentation and training as assigned.
