The ideal candidate has 8+ years in production environments, strong Linux/Windows and scripting skills, and experience with AWS/Azure, CI/CD, and monitoring tools. This is a W-2, US-based opportunity with Public Trust requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of systems engineering or related field, with production experience.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms and cloud-native technologies.
• Strong scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell; automation and config mgmt.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support for complex cloud-based systems.
• Diagnose, resolve, and document outages and incidents promptly.
• Maintain system documentation and runbooks for production environments.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams (dev, ops, security) to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Perform system maintenance and software/hardware provisioning as needed.
• Implement continuous improvement using IT systems and procedures.
