Job summary

IllTip is seeking a Level 2 support engineer to resolve complex issues for AI workloads, spanning from model training to production deployment. You will diagnose problems in Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud environments, and write automation scripts to streamline workflows.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field, 5+ years in tech support with 3+ years in cloud environments, and the ability to work rotating shifts including on-call coverage in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years in technical support, including at least 3 years of hands-on cloud environment experience.
• Advanced Linux administration and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of networking, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP, Python/Bash scripting, ML training and inference pipelines, and data storage concepts.
• Ability to work rotational shifts and on-call support as required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proof of employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve escalated issues across Linux, networking, security, Kubernetes and cloud environments.
• Investigate storage-related problems using a solid grasp of data storage concepts.
• Help troubleshoot ML model deployments, performance problems and integration issues in ML pipelines.
• Write Python and Bash automation scripts to streamline support processes and workflows.
• Give clients clear, timely updates on issue status and resolution, and escalate unresolved problems promptly to limit service disruption.
• Maintain and improve technical documentation to support troubleshooting and issue prevention.
