Job summary

ClassLink is seeking an Agentic Data Engineer, IC2 to design and maintain scalable data platforms, pipelines, integrations, APIs, and cloud-native services across products and analytics.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, advance automation, data quality, governance, and AI-driven development practices while supporting AWS-based data solutions. This remote role requires strong data engineering and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, backend software engineering, or cloud-based data platform development.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, including OOP, type hints, decorators, context managers, and async programming.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines, REST APIs, and cloud-native data services.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering practices and modern data methodologies to improve quality and productivity.
• Own technical implementations from design through deployment and ensure security, testing, and observability.
