Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer for a remote role in the United States, focused on scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure. You will lead reliability efforts, define standards, and partner with engineering teams to optimize platform performance and security.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related infrastructure roles.
Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining large-scale production platforms.
Advanced expertise with Kubernetes, Linux administration, and AWS.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient platform infrastructure using Kubernetes and AWS.
Drive reliability, performance, observability, and automation across production environments.
Develop and optimize IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and operational tooling to improve platform efficiency.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and application issues across distributed systems.
Partner with engineering teams to implement cloud architecture, security, and operational best practices.
