Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design and scale a cloud-native SaaS platform. You will set reliability standards, build self-service capabilities, and drive automation across software, security, and operations teams.

You will partner with engineering, cybersecurity, DevOps, and product teams to improve resilience, accelerate delivery, and reduce toil in a globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field with 5+ years in SRE/DevOps.
• 3+ years designing large-scale cloud environments.
• 3+ years IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation/AWS CDK.
• 3+ years CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• 3+ years AWS experience (EKS, EC2, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM).
• 3+ years observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure for SaaS platforms.
• Define SLOs/SLIs/SLAs across critical services.
• Build self-service platform capabilities for development teams.
• Develop reliability frameworks and operational best practices.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Mentor engineers in reliability practices and automation.
