Job summary

Ping Identity is seeking a Senior Staff Site Reliability Engineer to help design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure for one of the world’s largest identity platforms. You will work within a DevOps model, integrating development and operations for daily deployments on our cloud-hosted production systems.

You will lead the development and automation of CI/CD pipelines, shape deployment strategies, and ensure secure, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience in scalable, distributed systems architecture.
• Experience with Cloud Platform – GCP and AWS.
• Production-grade programming in Go / Golang.
• Experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Experience defining and implementing automated service deployments and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively and independently to design and deliver solutions for cloud-hosted production infrastructure.
• Shape how mission-critical enterprise software solutions are developed and deployed using optimized and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Help design, build and support infrastructure and security technologies within the cloud for resiliency, observability and cost optimization.
• Communicate proactively to audiences within the company and share knowledge to help others grow.
• Participate in planning work and identify areas of improvement; perform technology evaluation and selection.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for maintenance of the cloud solutions.
