Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect III for US Financial Services Insurance to own end-to-end cloud architectures for enterprise insurance customers, balancing reliability, security, performance, and cost.

You will lead hands-on engagements, mentor engineers, and translate business priorities into technology roadmaps, working with CTOs and CIOs to modernize platforms with AI and cloud.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains (software, cloud, infra, security, networking, data).
• 3+ years design/implementation/consulting in apps and infrastructures.
• 10+ years IT development/consulting in software/Internet industries.
• Experience communicating with executive stakeholders and clients.
• Experience migrating legacy solutions to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design and own end-to-end cloud architectures for enterprise insurance customers, balancing reliability, security, performance and cost.
• Build and deepen trusted advisor relationships with senior leaders, guiding migration, modernization, and AI adoption strategies.
• Lead hands-on engagements including architecture reviews, PoCs, and AI workshops, producing reference designs and reusable artifacts.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Technical Account Managers, specialist Solutions Architects, and services partners to move workloads from design to production.
• Translate customer feedback into technical requirements for AWS product and engineering teams; identify service gaps and sponsorships.
