Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to partner with global financial services customers, shaping scalable cloud architectures and driving adoption of AWS technologies.

You will collaborate with sales and AWS teams to migrate workloads, emphasize AI/ML capabilities, and guide customers through modernization at scale, including governance, security, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 6+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 6+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or 12+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical elements of the strategic plan for accelerating AWS adoption across the customer's lines of business.
• Own the technical relationship with customers and make recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability and operational efficiency.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions for successful cloud deployment.
• Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications and build relationships with senior technical stakeholders.
• Architect solutions leveraging AWS technology and demonstrate feasibility via PoCs or prototypes.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.
