Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to partner with financial services customers and AWS teams to design scalable cloud architectures. You will guide migrations to AWS, address business problems with cloud solutions, and advance AI/ML initiatives including generative AI workloads.

The role emphasizes collaboration with sales, technical leadership, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, cost-efficient and resilient cloud environments at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains (software, cloud, infra, security or data & analytics)
• 6+ years in design/implementation of applications and infrastructures
• Bachelor's degree or 12+ years of equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Develop technical elements of the strategic plan for AWS adoption across the customer lines of business.
• Own the technical relationship with customers and advise on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Educate customers on AWS value proposition and participate in deep architectural discussions for cloud deployment.
• Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers using AWS.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering, and support.
• Share best-practices within the AWS solutions architect community.
